1. What Information Do We Collect?

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the extension or website, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or otherwise when you contact us.

• Personal Information Provided by You: We collect email addresses and passwords (securely hashed via Firebase Authentication) when you create an account to use the Formulr extension.
• Payment Data: We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number. All payment data is stored by our payment processor (Dodo Payments), and you should review its privacy policies and contact the payment processor directly to respond to your questions.
• Service Usage Information: We store basic usage metrics (such as the number of formulas generated per month) connected to your account to enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier.
• Prompts & Queries: When you generate, explain, or debug a formula, the prompt is sent to Google's Gemini AI API to generate the response. We do not permanently store these queries in our databases.

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use personal information collected via our Services for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

• To facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To fulfill and manage your subscription and payments.
• To provide the core services of generating, explaining, and debugging formulas.
• To respond to user inquiries and offer support.

3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share information with the following third parties:

• Google Firebase: For secure authentication and basic account data storage (like usage counts).
• Google Gemini API: The text prompts you submit are processed by Google's Gemini API to generate the formula results.
• Dodo Payments: To securely process your subscription payments. We do not see or touch your raw credit card data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties.

4. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information.

5. Your Privacy Rights

You can review, change, or terminate your account at any time. If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can contact us securely at getformulr@gmail.com, and we will delete your account and associated data.
